Please Please don't Uh huh Yeah That's right This is a song about You know just trying to be good Please don't hate and call it love Please don't say you'll save the world You might have thought you'd need an enemy But you'll only be the world you see Who would not bow in your great Hall of defined yesterdays Who would now leave from their plate And if I go wrong Tell me now And if you just rail And it brings you down Please don't hate and call it love Please don't say you'll save the world You might have thought you'd need an enemy But you'll only be the world you see Who would deny your incense Living through oughts and dark lenses No, I don't know what you deserve And if I go wrong Tell me now And if you just rail And it brings you down Please don't hate and call it love Please don't say you'll save the world You might have thought you'd need an enemy But you'll only be the world you see Please don't hate and call it love Please don't say you'll save the world You might have thought you'd need an enemy But you'll only be the world you see

Green 05:39
Is it enough To live for a warm buzz Or cracking jokes A thousand miles away You never talked much I never thought much You never asked much I never asked much When the sun shines And the world turns green I c-can see What I'm missing You never talked much I never thought much You never asked much I never asked much

Only 05:39
Why'd you hit it that way Like a chore you just can't stand Or sucking out the venom from the wound inside your hand It doesn't matter how green And I don't know how strong You do it every day then ask me why your cold's so long Fussy fussy fussy fussy fussy fussy fussy fussy Man I'm gone It doesn't really matter who's right or wrong Just get forgotten dishes done And clean Yoshi up off the floor You think that all your talking Will make you understood As if the world were not contained inside a single word Where's you put the notes I Don't want them anymore That one knocks it over that one opens up the door Fussy fussy fussy fussy fussy fussy fussy fussy Man I'm gone It doesn't really matter who's right or wrong Just get forgotten dishes done And clean Yoshi up off the floor

One two three four Welcome, after winter's end All passers by and friends Look round, stroll with open eyes Each basket a bright surprise Take a car then you park it Walk on down to Windsor Market On a plan or on a lark it's Always good at Windsor Market We've got berries and peaches to sell the Tea will make you feel so well and All the people bound to flock but I can't wait till seven o'clock If you'd trade the shade for sun Walk down to the lake, or run Dive in, let the feeling live We're just so glad to give Take a car then you park it Walk on down to Windsor Market On a plan or on a lark it's Always good at Windsor Market We've got berries and peaches to sell the Tea will make you feel so well and All the people bound to flock but I can't wait till seven o'clock

Butterfly 03:43
What are you, what are you, butterfly And empty circle that doesn't tell me anything And it gets so high On wings lighter than I I can see White and green What are you, what are you, butterfly And empty circle that doesn't tell me anything And may know the sun From which everything comes And it gives Or it only lives What are you, what are you, butterfly And empty circle that doesn't tell me anything As an imprint, blind Happy just for the time That it stays Sorry for the fate

Phone Song 03:27
Laura, Laura Laura, Laura I wait here all alone Won't you show up on my phone I wait here all alone Won't you show up on my phone Laura, Laura Laura, Laura I wait here feeling numb Won't you make me tap my thumbs I wait here feeling numb Won't you make me tap my thumbs I wait here all alone Won't you show up on my phone I wait here all alone Won't you show up on my phone

Snowball 08:25
All of the Sky blue cheer has Degraded, and Despite co-op dreams Wide eyes and beams We are all very small And more, every day All of the Plastic skin has Sealed around the last Electric dreams Despite beards and beads We are all very small And more, every day There was a chance Now it's passed It was so awake And poison Laughter that strains Truths that don't remain And slogans And egos And we are all Very small

When I step outside the world seems bright And the moon it shines like a morning light And the wind that wakes me up again Rings the chimes and says it's time to begin When law makes you sad You forget the joy you had Could only Hold a finger still With no direction or will Shape I forget Or don't know yet Wake late and slow Full with the long night before Whole, well aligned Real and benign Easy friends with time Clear air and warm inside When I step outside the world seems bright And the moon it shines like a morning light And the wind that wakes me up again Rings the chimes and says it's time to begin

about

Kirk's Commentary:

Started in mid-2017 but not finished until the end of 2018 on account of voice and throat issues. My first full length album and, as of October 2020, my only release to feature other musicians. Every song except for the title track is a rerecording of a song from the Early EPs - in some cases drastically different, in some cases with just a bit of a warmer and fuller sound.
